The Montana Book Festival is an annual literary festival that celebrates the written word all throughout downtown Missoula, Montana from September 27-30, 2018. Offering a diverse range of readings, panels, workshops, performances and more, the festival strives to to foster interest in literature for people of all ages, perpetuate a sense of literary community, and provide a vibrant, compelling forum for the literary arts that celebrates diversity.
Organizing and paying for The Montana Book Festival is always a grassroots effort, with individuals and organizations from Montana’s literary community all pitching in time and funding. The Montana Book Festival would not exist without the generous volunteer effort of its community members. Our program owes a huge debt of gratitude to the generous writers who donate their time, energy and talents to be part of the festival this year.
Thanks for your time and support—we hope you'll join us in Missoula (or join us in spirit) for a true literary extravaganza.
